Corrections Policy
Latent Reasoning corrects material errors openly, and keeps every published edition on record so you can see what changed.
Report an error
Send a correction request to author@latent-reasoning.com with the report title, URL, affected passage or figure, and supporting source. We review good-faith reports based on the evidence available. A disagreement with analysis or a changed market outcome is not by itself a factual error.
Published editions never change
Once a report is published, that edition stays exactly as it was. Any change to its content, including a minor correction, creates a new, numbered edition with its own publication date. Earlier editions remain on record.
Minor corrections
Minor corrections, including spelling, formatting and broken links in a published report, require a new edition even when the analysis and conclusions stay the same. The publication identifies what changed and when.
Material corrections
A material correction identifies the affected claim, evidence, method, figure, conclusion, or disclosure; explains the nature of the error and the correction; and says when the new edition was published. Earlier editions stay on record and are never silently overwritten. Each report shows which edition you are reading, and a correction note describes material changes.
Charts and research data
Each edition keeps the exact charts and research data it was published with. If data, a model or a method behind a chart is corrected, the corrected version appears in a new edition. An earlier edition never silently switches to newer data.
Retractions and access restrictions
If a report’s central evidence is unreliable, unlawfully obtained, or cannot be responsibly corrected, we may retract it or restrict access while keeping an internal record and, where lawful and appropriate, a public explanation. We do not remove accurate reporting solely because its subject or a reader disagrees with it.
Timing and transparency
We aim to acknowledge substantiated correction reports promptly and prioritize errors that could materially affect a reader’s understanding. Complex source or methodology questions may require additional review. We do not guarantee a particular response time or outcome, but we will not knowingly leave a confirmed material error unaddressed.
